I didn't receive the SMS OTP for mobile verification

Three reasons SMS doesn't arrive, and what to do if you're stuck.

Mobile OTP is required when you create or join a team workspace. The SMS is sent through MSG91 and usually arrives within 15 seconds. If it doesn't, try these in order.

1. Wait 30 seconds and try once more

Indian telecom routes occasionally introduce a delay on weekends and during peak hours (8-10 PM IST). If the OTP doesn't arrive in 30 seconds, click 'Resend' once — but only once.

2. Check your DND settings

If you've activated Do Not Disturb (DND) on your number, transactional SMS may be blocked. SendMe sends OTPs as transactional messages on a DLT-approved template, which should bypass DND for most carriers — but some custom DND rules block everything. Either temporarily lift DND or use a different number.

3. Number format

Enter your mobile in international format with country code (e.g., +919876543210 for India). Don't include spaces, dashes, or parentheses. The form auto-prefixes +91 if you enter a 10-digit Indian number, but international numbers need the explicit prefix.

Still stuck?

Write to support@sendme.co.in with your mobile number and the timestamp of the attempt. We can check delivery logs on the MSG91 side and tell you whether the carrier dropped it.
